Two weeks ago I was fortunate to act as second shooter for Nedine Schoeman at Elma and JD’s wedding at Silver Mist in Kaapsche Hoop. It was a welcome opportunity to expand my wedding portfolio and to network with one of the most sought after wedding photographers in the Lowveld.
Rain was a constant threat throughout the day but it somehow miraculously stayed away when photos were taken outdoors. It was an intimate wedding and Silver Mist Country Inn lend itself perfectly to the couple’s big day. I can definitely recommend working with other photographers to extend one’s creative borders. It was very insightful to see how Nedine goes about her business and how she handles the inevitable stresses that pop up during the course of the day.
Kaapsche Hoop offers such a wide range of extraordinary photo opportunities that we didn’t even have to climb in a car and drive somewhere to capture stunning couple photos after the ceremony.
